KEC Community Care Centre


The aim of the KEC care centre is to offer a variety of programmes for all ages, seeking to meet the physical and spiritual needs of its surrounding community.

Playgroup

PlaygroupPlay Group is for children around 2 years 6 months old. The aim is to prepare them for school nursery and provides an opportunity for children to socialise with other children and to lay foundations for early stage education. This is achieved through various activities including play, drama, arts and crafts, educational games and trips out to such places as the local library and play park.

Playgroup is Ofsted and local education authority regsitered and therefore children of 3+ are eligible for Nursery Grant.

Playgroup is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 9.15am - 11.45am and Thursday afternoon 12.15am - 2.45pm.

Parents and Toddlers

Parent and Toddlers

Provides an opportunity for parents with babies and small children to interact in a warm, friendly environment. Leaders undertake activites with the children such as colouring, indoor and outdoor play, crafts and cooking, whilst the parents can socialise and enjoy a cup of tea together.

Parents and Toddlers are open 9.45am - 11.15am each Tuesday and Thursday morning during term time.

Elderlink Lunch Club

Daphne - Elderlink Lunch Club memberAn opportunity for the over sixties to enjoy fine food, conversation and activities including quizes, gentle exercise, musical entertainment and an epilogue (incluing hymn and chorus singing).

A number of outings are also arranged and have seen trips to the pantomine, a day out at the market in Moreton and even a trip to the Cotswold Wild Life Park!

Lunch club runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 12.30pm - 3.30pm.
